From Theatre to Opera

For the Opera Carlo Felice in Genoa, a brand of entertainment and culture, we redesigned the visual identity through a real re-founding. A substantial part of the project was the name change: from Theatre to Opera. The new sign is inspired by the O for opera and the semi-circular shape (the kòilon) of the classical Greek theatre. Thus was born the form that embraces the name. The colour system is defined by white, black and Genovese red.
